NITRO CHiRAL, the boys love label under visual novel developer Nitroplus, has announced that DRAMAtical Murder re:code will be coming to Steam in 2026. Scheduled to launch in the Winter of 2026, the game will support English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese text.
The original Dramatical Murder is a sci-fi romance visual novel released in 2013 for PC, targeting adult audiences. A year later, DRAMAtical Murder re:code was released for the PlayStation Vita in Japan, adding an additional route and toning down the game’s sexual and violent content for a 15+ rating. This version of the game went on to receive a Japanese Nintendo Switch release in 2025, but never came out in the West.
With the upcoming Steam release, re:code will receive its first ever official English localization (the original adult-rated version is available in English through publisher JAST).
