Meccha Chameleon gets new Osaka map alongside reporting feature

Meccha Chameleon's versions 1.7 update from June 22 adds a brand-new Osaka-themed map to the game.

Meccha Chameleon is keeping the content rolling with Update 1.7, which adds the new Japan-themed map “Osaka,” along with a reporting feature and a fix to the Discord link on the title screen.

Given the popularity of the hide-and-seek game, players are starting to experience instances of cheating. These include hunters who can immediately spot all hiders on the map, unkillable players, and hiders who die as soon as the match starts. Though cheaters have been reported on other sites, the inclusion of an in-game reporting feature will hopefully lead to a fairer playing experience.

On a more positive note, co-creator LEMORION says that while the Osaka map is on the smaller side, there is a chance that it may be expanded in the future.

Meccha Chameleon is available for Windows (Steam).
