Developer and publisher ODD No has announced that the offline version of Link! Like! Love Live! will be delisted from the App Store and Google Play on October 30, 2026, at 12:00 JST. Players who wish to keep playing the game beyond the cut-off date are urged to log in and download all necessary data before October 30. After that date, players will no longer be able to install the app or re-download it from the store page.
The offline version was launched immediately after the online version’s end-of-services, and was originally scheduled to be delisted at the end of September, which means the grace period has been extended for about a month.
An official post on the Hasunosora Girl’s High School Idol Club website explained that refund requests for the in-game currency, SIsCa, will be closing its doors on September 30 at 12:00 JST. Refunds will be processed throughout October, and applicants will be given further instructions on the procedure at a later date.
Originally launched in May 2023, Link! Like! Love Live! was a virtual idol deck builder/rhythm game hybrid title that was part of the Love Live! Series’ then latest media mix project, Hasunosora Girl’s High School Idol Club. While the game managed to attract a significant player base, it was cited as an extremely costly operation according to ODD No.
In April 2026, the developer announced the shutdown of Link! Like! Love Live!, citing rising operational costs and a lack of human resources. The game’s closure was attributed mostly to the game’s “real-time calendar” feature, which allowed players to follow the idols’ school lives in real time, with in-game events linked to a real-life calendar. According to a statement by ODD No, the operational burden was “unimaginable” and “far greater than for any typical live-service game”.
ODD No would ultimately receive a bankruptcy commencement order from the Tokyo District Court on August 5, with the Tokyo Shoko Research firm publishing a report stating that the company’s liabilities had reached 10.32 billion yen (approximately $65.5 million USD) as far back as the fiscal year ended December 2024.
The offline version of Link! Like! Love Live! will no longer be downloadable after October 30, with support for the link password function ending on the 20th.
