Kowloon High-School Chronicle creator’s forensic sim Tokyo Psychodemic releases in the West on November 28
Tokyo Psychodemic, a cinematic forensics simulator developed by Gravity Game Arise and directed by Shuuhou Imai (creator of visual novel franchises like Tokyo Majin Gakuen Denki and Kowloon High-School Chronicle), recently got a worldwide release set for November 28, 2024.
The domestic version of the game, which was released in Japan last May 30, 2024, will receive a price reduction alongside the worldwide release, with both versions being priced at 3,960 JPY (25.50 USD).
The story of Tokyo Psychodemic is rather interesting, as it follows a series of unsolved cases that take place in a post-epidemic Tokyo. Three years after a deadly virus takes hold of the city, the doctor who discovers the cure is appointed as Japan’s Prime Minister. Amidst the semblance of control that is slowly coming back to the city, a series of paranormal incidents occur. It falls to you, the protagonist, to investigate these incidents alongside your colleagues and solve them.
Tokyo Psychodemic’s price drop of roughly 1980.67 JPY (12.75 USD) is a good incentive for people to try out the strange game. A free demo is currently available across all compatible platforms, which includes the game’s prologue and first chapter.
Tokyo Psychodemic will be available worldwide on November 28, 2024 for PC (Steam), PS5/PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
