Realistic forensic investigation sim Tokyo Psychodemic to release May 30

Gravity Game Arise announced that Tokyo Psychodemic will be releasing on May 30 for the PS4/PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam). A trailer was revealed following the announcement, and preorders are open on each platform.

Tokyo Psychodemic is a cinematic and realistic forensics simulator in which you investigate unsolved cases in a post-disaster Tokyo. In December 2019, an unknown virus led to the outbreak of a deadly epidemic, leading to lockdown and devastating the city. Three years later, the doctor who discovered the cure for the virus is appointed as Prime Minister and has successfully brought the outbreak under control. In the midst of this, a series of paranormal incidents have been occurring in Tokyo. As the protagonist, you will investigate these unsolved cases in cooperation with various experts in order to get to the bottom of things.

You will conduct investigations based on photographic evidence and security camera footage, as well as tip-offs that arrive at the detective agency. The game features real-life photographs and live-action security camera footage. You will use analysis tools to investigate the details of the footage and gather information by looking through documents. Tokyo Psychodemic does not have a fixed route. It seems players will be encouraged to take an active approach and solve the cases with their deduction skills.
