Japanese publisher Sanuk announced that the Steam port of the gothic action JRPG SiNiSistar2 will be released on May 16, 2026 (Source: GameBiz). Developed by the indie dev circle Uu, the game originally released on DLsite in April 2025, as the sequel to 2019’s SiNiSistar, selling over 100,000 copies on the platform. While the original, being an adult title, features plenty of NSFW scenes, the Steam port will be an “all ages version,” with a dedicated 18+ patch for those who want to enjoy more explicit content.
SiNiSistar2 follows the story of protagonist Sister Lelia and her companion Sister Hanya who take on the holy mission of defeating the evil that’s corrupting the land of Arsezon. Exploring the gothic terrain depicted in a striking blend of 2D pixel art and 3D, the nuns must face off against eldritch horrors and evil cultists using a combination of melee and magic-based action.
With Lelia’s purifying exorcist magic and Hanya’s ability to treat ailments, you’ll need to observe the behavior of mobs and bosses you meet along the way and learn exploit their weaknesses. The game offers six different dungeons to explore, spanning across creepy swamps, damp caves and abandoned villages.
According to the developers, the 18+ patch for SiNiSistar2 will be distributed via ErogeJapan, launching simultaneously with the Steam release. Compared to the DLsite version, the Steam port also includes some platform-exclusive features such as cloud saves, achievements and SteamDeck aspect ratio support. However, the contents of the DLsite version and the patched Steam version of the game remain exactly the same.
To celebrate the release, a new version update adding the costume of Rabiane (original protagonist of SiNiSistar), a Hard mode, and some other quality of life adjustments will launch on May 16 for both the DLSite and Steam port of the game.
SiNiSistar2 is currently available on DLSite. The game is set to release on Steam on May 16, with English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese language support.
