CRYSTALiA, a Japanese publishing label specializing in bishojo games, released their brand-new adult visual novel Dimension Totsu Lovers!! on April 24 for PC. The game debuted as the number one best-seller on FANZA GAMES’ monthly rankings, and it seems like its popularity has only been rocketing from there. Consequently, due to supplies of the physical version of the game running short across the whole country, CRYSTALiA announced the production of additional copies, with a gradual restock scheduled to start in late May.
Dimension Totsu Lovers!! follows the story of antihero Enju Hozuki, a “mage” – a member of a group of outlaws who pursue truth over humanity. He is tasked with infiltrating the Academy, an organization which rebuilt Japan after a terrible incident involving anti-reality monsters trying to wipe out the world. His mission is to to assassinate Sakura Yoruno, its current student council president. Meek and awkward, his odds of confidently passing as an Academy student are close to zero, and to make things even more complicated, he finds out that Sakura Yoruno is the name of the mysterious girl he fell in love with a few days earlier.
Aside from a coming-of-age romance storyline, the game also features supernatural battles between characters, which have become a staple for the CRYSTALiA brand, with other notable examples being its debut work Kizuna Kirameku Koi Iroha. Of course, being an adult title, it also features plenty of explicit scenes.
The scenario for Dimension Totsu Lovers!! is written by Kien Aien of the doujin circle LOSER/S, best known for the Kochira, Shuumatsu Teitai Iinkai light novel series and puzzle RPG MECHANICA: A Ballad of the Rabbit and Mercury.
Dimension Totsu Lovers!! is out for PC. An English version of the game is currently unavailable.
