In the creature-collector action game The Demon Party, you become the Demon Lord’s younger sister and subjugate monsters to grow your own army

Korean Studio Team ETTU just revealed the Steam store page for The Demon Party, their creature-collecting sequel to Debugging Hero.

If the idea of beating monsters to a pulp and forcing them to fight for you seems too tame in Pokémon, then perhaps The Demon Party might be more your speed. Developed by South Korean indie studio Team ETTU, the RPG has you violently defeating hostile monsters and recruiting them as minions to join your troops and help you develop your stronghold.

The Demon Party follows Lethe, the younger sister of the Demon Lord. After her sister vanishes and the Demon Lord’s Castle is beset upon rival monsters fighting for the throne, Lethe embarks on a journey to raise an army of her own and take everything back. Taking place after Team ETTU’s hack and slash rouguelite, Debugging Hero, you’ll also encounter heroes who want to put a stop to Lethe’s plans.

Using her power of domination, Lethe can command monsters that she or her allies have defeated. Subjugated enemies recover their health and immediately join you in combat, with each monster having unique stats, traits, and skills. For example, monsters with high defense and a taunt skill can be used to tank attacks for the rest of the party, while monsters with high magic and a healing skill can hang back and restore everyone’s health. Even bosses aren’t safe from Lethe’s domination power, as they can also be recruited to bolster your army.

The Demon Party

To give players a tangible sense of progression, The Demon Party features a stronghold that grows in size the more monsters you recruit. As you progress, you’ll also be able to raise your monsters, create items, and build an army that is entirely to your liking.

The Demon Party is currently in development for Windows (Steam).
