CONDOMINIUM: NO EXIT, an upcoming psychological horror game by South Korean indie developer Ghost Train, recently got a demo for PC (Steam, itch.io) ahead of its 2026 launch.
This 2D adventure title follows Rio, a frail yet kind-hearted girl who has struggled with poor health since birth. One ordinary day, Rio is riding the usual train home after an argument with her childhood friend. Suddenly, her phone starts ringing and emitting a strange light, and she is pulled into a mysterious dimension called Rubicon.

Over on the other side, she encounters an arrogant helper who goes by “Unhappy.” Intrigued by Rio, Unhappy offers to help her escape Rubicon. However, the further they venture into the chaos-filled world, the more Rio is forced to confront cruel truths she’d once tried to forget.
Gameplay in Condominium: No Exit consists of exploring the grotesque and liminal spaces of Rubicon and navigating Rio’s death flags, with the story progressing through your actions and decisions. You’ll also encounter puzzles and gimmicks that reflect the characters’ emotional states. Your conversations with Unhappy make up most of the dialogue, while fragments explaining the world’s lore will be revealed through items you discover.

Depending on how you play, Rio can safely return to reality and heal her trauma, or fall apart and stay bound to Rubicon forever. The game explores identity, reconstruction, and loss.
CONDOMINIUM: NO EXIT is scheduled to release for PC (Steam, itch.io) sometime in 2026. A free demo is available as of August 28.
