Gundam Rogue Orbit’s main story will offer around 20 hours of playtime, according to developers

Gundam Rogue Orbit is set to release on March, 2027.

GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT, the latest game in Bandai Namco’s Mobile Suit Gundam series, is set to launch on March 5, 2027 for PC (Steam), PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. This high-speed action game is part of the new alternate Gundam universe titled “RG Project,” alongside the upcoming XARX-Zero anime.

During a recent joint media interview published by Famitsu, director Yoshiyuki Serizawa and producer Yuya Tomiyama talked about what players can expect from Gundam Rogue Orbit, including its volume. According to Tomiyama, a straightforward playthrough of the main story should offer about 20 hours of playtime, though the developers expect this to vary on the individual level depending on playstyle and how much players engage with customization and other features.

Additionally, as endgame content, Gundam Rogue Orbit will come with a multiplayer mode where three players can team up to fight powerful enemies. While he wasn’t able to spill the details, the director says this mode will allow players to show off their customized mobile suits to one another. On the other hand, the game will not come with a dedicated photo mode.

Regarding the number of mobile suits and Apocalypse (enemy) types appearing in the game, Tomiyama said the exact numbers are still under wraps, but that the variety showcased so far “is only a fraction of the total.”

GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT is scheduled to launch on March 5, 2027 for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
