Final Fantasy 16: Dummy thick Tonberry butts cause flurry of improper thoughts
“I’m trying to be a serious part of The Rising Tide DLC, but I’m dummy thicc, and the clap of my buttcheeks keeps alerting the debauched Final Fantasy players” – Tonberry, probably.
Square Enix released The Rising Tide DLC for Final Fantasy XVI on April 16, and a few days later, a very unexpected aspect of the game has come into the spotlight – Tonberry behinds. Tonberries are memorable creatures that make appearances throughout the Final Fantasy series, and they are mostly associated with a short-statured and relatively cute amphibian look.
However, the Tonberries that appear in FFXVI are taller and have a more serious appearance, with the intimidating Tonberry King even earning nicknames such as “Chadberry.” But most importantly, when Tonberries fall over, they reveal an unexpectedly humanoid-looking behind, and the shapely, plump appearance of their butts and thighs has caused Final Fantasy players to struggle with lewd feelings towards the creatures. In response to the above embedded X post, countless Japanese fans revel at the erotic display of the fallen Tonberry.
One user, @CyberIguana, was so taken by the portrayal of Tonberry asses in Final Fantasy XVI that they composed an eloquent essay analyzing the expertise they were designed and modeled with. The piece of writing is far too great not to quote in its entirety, so please give it a read below.
Final Fantasy XVI is available for the PS5, with a PC port currently in the works.
