On September 9, Japanese publisher Spike Chunsoft announced that Danganronpa 2×2 will be launching on January 14, 2027.
Super Danganronpa 2×2 is a remake of Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, the second installment in the Danganronpa series, originally released for the PSP in 2012. In Danganronpa 2×2, not only will the original main story be remade, but the game will also include a new scenario supervised by Kazutaka Kodaka, featuring completely different culprits, victims, and murder tricks.
Danganronpa 2×2 is scheduled to release on January 14, 2027, for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam/Epic Games Store).
