Development studio Gino recently announced a demo for its upcoming 3D magical girl action roguelite game Bless You Again. The demo is set to release sometime next week (October 11-17, 2026) for Windows (Steam) and lets you play through the game’s prologue.
According to the devs, the demo showcases about 5% of the whole story and roughly 30% of the full release’s gameplay systems, including the core features like Blessings, skills and combat builds. You can choose from two playable characters, Lily and Yoru, to explore the first of five dungeons. The demo allows you to keep exploring the dungeon after completing the prologue, though there currently is no word on whether progress will carry over to the full game.
Bless You Again follows Lily, a magical girl who enters a perilous labyrinth deep inside a forest. With her spirit companions, she braves the maze’s dangers to obtain the Philosopher’s Stone hidden deep within.
At the start of each run, you can choose to play as Lily or one of her four elemental spirits that represent fire, water, wind, and earth. Each character comes with a unique playstyle. For example, Lily, dubbed the battle mage, alternates between physical attacks and spells. Successful melee hits with her staff generate mana, which can be used to cast powerful spells.

Dungeons are randomized, with the level layout and item drops changing with each run. Throughout your runs, you’ll collect Blessings – enhancements that offer various random buffs. Common Blessings offer small advantages, such as increasing basic stats. Rarer Blessings, on the other hand, can completely redefine how you approach combat. As you progress, you’ll find ways to synergize these Blessings and create your own unique build and playstyle. Death is not the end in Bless You Again, as some of your progress carries over between runs, allowing Lily and her spirits to get stronger.

The full release of Bless You Again will include more characters, dungeons, skills, and blessings, as well as expanded features for the demo’s existing systems. A first playthrough of the main story is set to take roughly 8-10 hours. With its cel-shaded anime-inspired aesthetic and full Japanese voice acting, Bless You Again looks like playing through an actual magical girl anime.
Bless You Again is set to release for Windows (Steam) in 2026. A free demo is scheduled to release next week, October 11-17, 2026.
