Marfusha: Sentinel Girls to get PC sequel in Snezhinka: Sentinel Girls 2
Japanese developer Hinyari9 announced Snezhinka: Sentinel Girls 2 on December 20. The upcoming title is planned for release in 2024 for the PC (Steam).
Snezhinka: Sentinel Girls 2 is a shooting action game in which you play as Snezhinka, a contactor for a private military, tasked with various defense operations. Snezhinka is also the sister-in-law of Marfusha.
The upcoming title is the sequel to Marfusha: Sentinel Girls, a base defense shooting game in which cute girls defend the country border from enemies, buying supplies from their meager wages to face increasingly tough conditions. The sequel, Snezhinka: Sentinel Girls 2, seems to inherit the same concept and worldbuilding, depicting an aggressive enemy offense and the girls’ resistance. The system of upgrading characters by buying one of three cards after each battle appears to have remained unchanged.
The sequel increases the number of cards significantly compared to its predecessor, with three times as many weapon cards and 130 cards in total. The allies obtained through cards will influence not only battle but the course of the story and ending as well. Aside from the main mode in which you need to survive for 100 days, there will be a challenge mode in which you select one of 8 available characters with different abilities and try to survive for as many days as possible. This mode will also have an online ranking system.
Snezhinka: Sentinel Girls 2 is planned for release in 2024 for the PC (Steam).
Marfusha: Sentinel Girls is available for the PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
