Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth – Ichiban Kasuga will get flirty in a dating app minigame 

Sega revealed new details about the minigames that will be featured in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth on December 11. One of the minigames, titled “Miss Match” seems to be about trying to get Ichiban Kasuga a date through a matchmaking app. 

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is an upcoming RPG developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio that features both Kazama Kiryu and Ichiban Kasuga as protagonists. The game is one of the most anticipated additions to the Like a Dragon series, and the developers have described it as being massive in volume. 

The title also “boasts the largest lineup of content up to date” in terms of minigames, and Sega has been gradually revealing information about them leading up to the release on January 26. The island resort management minigame “Dondoko Island” (nicknamed “Yakuza Crossing”) has been particularly in the spotlight as it brings a whole new genre to the series and appears to contain enough content to be standalone game. 

Most recently, Sega revealed screenshots and details about some of Infinite Wealth’s minigames, including classic ones such as Karaoke and Arcade Games, as well some rather novel ones, like Miss Match.  

In Miss Match, you need to get Ichiban Kasuga into the dating world by creating a profile for him on “the hottest new matchmaking app,” which includes editing his profile bio and icon. The next step is chatting up a possible suitor by choosing responses and emoji that will make them interested.  Reaching a certain level of affection with a girl will lead to a face-to-face meeting, but it seems that you should be ready to expect anything. The description also mentions that going on dates will improve Kasuga’s personality stats. In game screenshots reveal the UI of the dating app and what seems to be a “grand reveal” scene of Kasuga’s date. 

The hotly anticipated release will introduce Crazy Delivery, Dondoko Island, Miss Match, Karaoke, Arcade Games, m HOLD’EM, and Darts Live 3, but also teases “a plethora of other minigames for a more mature palate.” Screenshots reveal a strip club scene as well as Ichiban Kasuga taking a “Hawaii Proficiency Test.” 

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is scheduled for release on January 26, 2024 for the PC (Windows/Steam)/Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One/PS4/PS5.
