Dimension Girl is a new roguelite action game featuring Subspace Coneru
Publisher CREST has announced side-scrolling roguelite action game Dimension Girl -Jigen Shoujo- Subspace Coneru for Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam). The game is due out in early summer 2023.
Dimension Girl is based on the Dimension Girl Subspace Coneru character from the creative brand Gravity Beyond XD and its leading creator Hyperspace. Coneru is a young girl who can travel between dimensions by inhabiting any kind of matter, including the bodies of others. She uses this ability to go sightseeing on Earth, but due to a mistake by a dimensional travel company, she accidentally inhabits a sentient combat android name Socrates.
In the game, Coneru and Socrates, who share the same body, fight to save Shinjuku City, which has been polluted by a mysterious organization. They speed from building to building while pummeling the enemies that stand in their way.
The game is being developed by Novus, a game studio owned by CREST and based in Yokohama, in cooperation with Eallin Japan, the creators of the Gravity Beyond XD. Novus is a visual novel brand that was formed by a number of staff who formerly worked at Minato Soft (related article).
