Those who want their horror games more puzzle-based and a little sexier might want to check out heXtreaming:Deep. Developed by South Korean indie studio Laputa Games, this horror adventure title follows the female streamer Suji as she explores one of South Korea’s top 5 most haunted locations. The game is out now on Steam.
As a person who doesn’t believe in the supernatural, Suji travels to an abandoned water park to prove to her viewers that ghosts do not exist. Things take a turn for the worse when she finds herself being chased by spirits as soon as she arrives on site. Now Suji must evade her pursuers as she solves the park’s seemingly countless puzzles and finds a way to escape.
From reading manuals for clues to completing minigames (which include redirecting a series of pipes and a whack-a-mole-esque title where you smash one-eyed bunnies with a hammer), there is no shortage of puzzles to complete that will open the park’s many closed doors.

As a streamer, Suji will occasionally receive missions from her viewers. Completing them rewards Won, which can be used to purchase helpful items such as drinks from vending machines. Certain drinks increase the rate at which your stamina gauge recovers and refill it when it reaches zero, making them invaluable as you run to avoid ghosts.

Suji can also receive more donations by reacting to previous ones and donning different outfits. Not counting her default clothes, there are four unlockable outfits that affect viewers’ reactions and slightly change how cutscenes play out. The devs mention that the game includes content unsuitable for all ages, including partial nudity, sexual themes, and foul language. There is no explicit sexual content in the game.
heXtreaming:Deep is available for Windows (Steam).
