Greetings, fellow adventurers! This is the Elin State of the Game editorial team.
We’d like to share Elin-related news that have been sent in from all over Ilva this month as well.
This is the March issue of “Elin State of the Game,” out on Nyan Nyan Day (the 22nd), as always. Spring has arrived to North Tyris too!

This Nyanth’s Update
Check it all out!
Last month, coinciding with the public opening of the old church, various wedding-related items circulated in North Tyris. Adventurers who have been looking forward to this moment — you can finally get married!
Meanwhile, rumors are circulating of a terrifying adventurer who preys on living creatures.
(For details on all updates, see Ylvapedia)
Is It Time to Get Married Soon?
The renovation of Palmia’s old church with a long history is finally complete, and North Tyris is buzzing with a wedding rush.
Do you have someone special in mind? A companion with whom you’ve shared many adventures and deepened your bond might be eagerly awaiting your proposal.

Fame Spreads Quickly, for Better or for Worse
When you accomplish a thing, having something tangible to show for it makes the sense of achievement even greater.
In our world of Ylva, records are now kept in the form of “achievements.” If you manage to unlock a rare achievement, you can brag about it to your friends.

New Playable Race: Slime
Please take a look at this terrifying video. This is a scene of an adventurer attempting to feed on a lost kitten. Although it resembles a human, this adventurer is actually a slime!
It seems that slimes that have gained intelligence increase their abilities by incorporating genes in this way.

Official Video Introduction: A Message from Younger Snow Leopard Sister
First, let’s introduce the video. Younger Snow Leopard Sister, who travels through North Tyris as an adventurer, has sent a message to congratulate us on the publication of the “Elin State of the Game.”
The entire editorial team is grateful for her warm message and promises to continue providing information about Ylva that will help adventurers.
But first, we’ll need to pull ourselves together. After all, it’s hard not to smile at her proudly swishing tail and her fluffy Snow Putit.

Next, let’s introduce a new illustration by Elin illustrator NZ.
Putting marshmallows in hot chocolate is a tried-and-true recipe that even non-alchemists can use. Corgon is delighted, holding a fluffy marshmallow in his mouth.
This piece, which also evokes the feeling of spring’s approach, is perfect for White Day.

Official Music Introduction ~ Palmia Records
First, there’s the hymn “Ehekatl of Luck.” This song was released some time ago, but it can now be heard in the old church during wedding ceremonies in Elin.
This hymn has lyrics and appears to be the blessing recited by the priest at the wedding.
Next is ★”Music Box of Fortune.” This is a song played by a music box that can be obtained as a memento after the wedding, and it’s an arrangement of the Ehekatl hymn.
While listening to the gentle melody, you can quietly reflect on the joyous beginning of your new life together.
Next, the hymn “Kumiromi of Harvest.” This song was released around the same time as the Ehekatl hymn, and can be heard during proposals.
The loving melody seems to resonate with the feelings one directs towards a loved one.
Finally, we introduce ★”Music Box of Harvest.” Your loved one might give it to you on your first wedding anniversary.
You can open the lid from time to time and reaffirm your love, which stays unchanged even after time passes.

Just Doom It!!!
From game packages and e-cigarettes to satellites… DOOM, a landmark in the FPS genre, has been ported to countless environments since becoming open source.
Ylva, separated by vast distances of time and space, is no exception. Installing the mod “Just Doom It!!!,” which we introduce here, will make a DOOM arcade cabinet appear within Fortune Bell.
No further explanation is needed. Just Doom It!!!

We’d like to highlight a small selection of the adventurers who are making the Elin community even more exciting. If any creator names are incorrect, we would appreciate it if you could let us know.

We’re still accepting fan work submissions from adventurers for “Elin State of the Game”!
We’re accepting submissions in various formats, including illustrations, photos, music, and videos. We’d love to see your work grace the pages of “Elin State of the Game”!

Architecture of the Month
Housing is life. In fact, it’s deeper than life itself.
This installment takes a slightly different approach, and we’d like to conclude by introducing a map that utilizes the newly introduced fake objects.
If you look closely, you’ll notice that the trees, grass, and three-dimensional waterfalls are all carefully placed to create a natural arrangement. It’s a work that evokes a sense of story, as if a scene from the journey of two people has been captured.

Adventurer Q&A Box
We’d like to thank the adventurers who have already sent in messages through the reader submission form!
Now, let’s start a new section: the Adventurer Q&A Box!
Developer noa will personally answer the questions submitted through the form!
Q. What does it look like when a parasite is infesting you? Is it a heartwarming scene like a brother and sister giving each other piggyback rides? Is the sister’s head peeking out of your mouth? Or is your right hand the sister? I’m so curious, my neck is getting thicker! (by Fusafusa no Tamago , original in Japanese)
The method of parasitism is basically decided through discussion between the host and the parasite.
The piggyback ride type, as mentioned in the question, strikes a good balance between trust and courtesy and is a healthy style of parasitism often seen in towns.
The clinging type is also quite popular among adventurers with a romantic nature.
Other relatively common styles of parasitism include the scarf type, which is warm but slightly dangerous if you anger them, the pocket type, popular with small animals and those who prefer the indoors, and the bridal carry type.
On the other hand, parasitic beast styles like having the parasite live in your mouth or fusing with your right hand are quite niche, so rest assured.
Q. When will we officially be able to summon a god? I want to do something sacred with Jure! (by 魅魔圣武士『雨燕』, original in Chinese)
As a fellow Jure believer, I understand your feelings perfectly, but for precisely these reasons, I believe that gods should not be introduced into the game willy-nilly.
Perhaps the sacredness arises precisely from the fact that they are untouchable, that they are beings that can never be defiled.
If Jure were to descend into the game, and someone were to make a blunder, a severe penalty might await, such as the complete destruction of the base and the annihilation of all its inhabitants.
However, please feel free to draw as many game-related doujins as you like.
Q. Will there ever be some sort of multiplayer-co op capabilities? (by Whaelin)
That’s a serious question.
Regarding synchronous multiplay, there are no plans to support it in an official way. However, we have received reports that something similar is working in the testing phase of a mod.
As for official features, we are considering further enhancing asynchronous multiplayer elements in the future, such as adding a voting function to user maps in Moongate and allowing users to release custom bottle messages and red books.
We’re still accepting questions from adventurers for “Elin State of the Game!”
While we may not be able to feature all of them due to space limitations, we will read through all submitted questions and continue to answer them in future issues.
The entire editorial team is eagerly awaiting your questions!

Developer News
Hello everyone, this is noa.
Are you enjoying the proposal and marriage features that were finally introduced in the stable version? With marriage now possible, it looks like we can finally add quests for Raphael (editor’s note: the gentleman with a penchant for married women who appeared in the previous game, Elona). We also plan to implement quests related to aliens and Mimululu soon, and are currently working on the materials.
In “Elin State of the Game,” a new Q&A section has been added this month. We welcome all of your questions, from serious ones to humorous ones!
