Greetings, fellow adventurers! This is the Elin State of the Game editorial team.
We’d like to express our gratitude once again to the many people who read our recent December issue and for the warm response we received.
This month, we’ve been receiving new Elin-related news from all over Ylva.
As always on Nyan Nyan Day (the 22nd), the January issue of “Elin State of the Game” is out. We hope you enjoy it at your leisure, perhaps with a hot drink in hand!

This Nyanth’s Update
Check it all out!
First, let’s review last month’s stable update.
The December update introduced a lot of content related to the latest episode of the Home Quest, “Into the Darkness.” The previously inaccessible “Crypt of the Damned” has been opened up, and elements that will be familiar to Elona players, such as the “★Staff of Insanity,” have also been added.
This marks the finale of the Home Quest, “Into the Darkness.” How will it all end, and in what form will the NPCs and artifacts from Elona make their appearance? We hope our fellow adventurers will see it through with us until the very end!
(For details on all updates, see Ylvapedia)
An ASMR which gently envelops the Holy Night Festival
The decorations for the Holy Night Festival, held every December at Noyel, have been enhanced with more spectacular additions. Many decorative items have been added, including 18 varieties of Juremas balls and two types of candy sticks. By using these items effectively when decorating, you’ll be able to create an even more spectacular party venue than ever before.
During the Holy Night Festival, a faint ASMR can be heard somewhere within the church, blending in with the gorgeous decorations…

Vampire Update
Updates have also been made to the new Vampire race. Overall, their “strong at night, weak during the day” characteristics seem even more pronounced.
They can no longer hope to fight effectively in their weak bat form, and if they transform in the middle of town, citizens will no longer hesitate to call the guards.
Also, if you’re a Vampire, NPCs you befriend will now pour ketchup on your “Love Fueled Lunch Box.” Vampire adventurers can now enjoy homemade lunch boxes smothered in blood (ketchup).

Winter Outfits
Some characters now have outfits appropriate for the bitterly cold North Tyris. When winter comes, it might be fun to go and meet some of your favorite characters.

A small electrical power revolution?
A new piece of furniture, the “Hamster Generator,” has been implemented. It can be found at furniture stores, although rarely. When it’s running, the hamster will diligently produce electricity.

New Issues of Adventurer’s Weekly
Useful for both novice and seasoned adventurers, issues 13 through 17 of Adventurer’s Weekly have been released simultaneously. They cover a wide range of information, from how to use projectiles to events in North Tyris and the biology of succubi. If you haven’t read them yet, be sure to visit Moir in the Traveler’s Anchorage.

With the release of the new “ASMR Player” item, we’re now accepting submissions for ASMR!

Developer News
Hello everyone, this is noa. The second issue of Elin State of the Game is here!
Last month, as a first step in enhancing the mod functionality, I performed my first ever “puru puru merge” (editor’s note: merging a pull request while shaking) on GitHub with the help of DK, who I’ve been relying on for a while. I’ve never collaborated on a program before, so I’m looking forward to doing all sorts of things from now on.
Also, composer NINO will officially be joining the Elin development team this year. We will have NINO support Elin’s growth in areas other than music as well, such as the Elin State of the Game column, official radio, and in many other ways.
With that, we look forward to your continued support this year as well, on behalf of Elin and everyone involved. Thank you!
