Following the success of Dynasty Warriors: Origins, Koei Tecmo urges players to complete an online survey to get a better understanding of what they liked about the game and would like to see in the future of the franchise. While most of the survey involves answering standard, run-of-the-mill questions, there are a few interesting ones that Dynasty Warriors fans should take note of.
For starters, the survey asks fans if they’ve played any of Omega Force’s crossover games with other IPs. As the brand of Koei Tecmo responsible for the Dynasty Warriors franchise, Omega Force has also worked on collaboration games such as Persona 5 Strikers, Hyrule Warriors, and Fate/Samurai Remnant. Provided the number of responses is high enough, there might be a chance that Omega Force could implement crossover events between Dynasty Warriors and other IPs.
Koei Tecmo is already going to great lengths to localize Dynasty Warriors: Origins in as many languages as possible. Still, it is nice that several survey questions are centered around localization. The importance of English voiceover work and localization into languages aside from English, Japanese, and Chinese are some of the more specific queries in the survey that will help Koei Tecmo improve how players worldwide experience its games.
Pricing is another important topic in the survey, as questions regarding the maximum price players are willing to pay for new titles, remakes, and remasters are brought up. While some players would prefer new releases, there are veteran Dynasty Warriors fans who would jump at the chance to play modernized versions of games like Dynasty Warriors 4 and 7.
The final noteworthy question has to do with any features or changes fans would like to see from future games made by ω-Force and/or Koei Tecmo. This catch-all question allows fans to give their input on past games and help improve future titles.
