現地時間11月22日に、Golden Joystick Awards 2022が発表された。Golden Joystick Awardsは、イギリスで1983年より続く歴史あるゲームアワード。過去12か月に発売されたタイトルなどを対象に、ユーザーらによる投票が実施された。
さまざまな作品がノミネートされるなか、今年で第40回目となるアワードのUltimate Game of the Yearは、数々の人気作を制し『エルデンリング』が受賞。同作はそのほか3部門でアワードに輝いているほか、開発元フロム・ソフトウェアはStudio of the Yearを受賞している。今後のゲームアワードを控え、さっそく大きな存在感を見せる結果となった。以下、ノミネートおよび結果を記載。アワードの勝利タイトルには星マークをつけている。
