Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree: Where to duplicate boss remembrances

Just like the base game, Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC has a bunch of bosses that drop remembrances that can either be used for a large sum of Runes or traded with Enia the Finger Reader at Roundtable Hold for strong boss items. Unlike the base game, however, the Land of Shadow doesn’t have any Wandering Mausoleums that you need to knock down to duplicate their acquired boss remembrances. Instead, the DLC has a few Remembrance Coffins that serve the same purpose. Three Remembrance Coffins are located in the Land of Shadow, and here’s where you can find them:

1. Cathedral of Manus Metyr

From the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace in the Scadu Atlus region, head slightly east until you find a fallen cathedral with a door opening. Go through the opening, head all the way down (Torrent makes avoiding the enemies in this area easier), and eventually you’ll find a small cave with a long ladder at the end of it. Climb the ladder and you’ll find yourself in Bonny Village.

Activate the Site of Grace in this area (you might also want to head slightly north to acquire the “O Mother” gesture for the Finger Ruins of Dheo Coffin Remembrance later), follow the path that leads north, and eventually the same path will start bending south towards the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. The Remembrance Coffin lies on the southwest portion of the lake area that surrounds the Cathedral of Manus Metyr.

2. Finger Ruins of Rhia

From the Cerulean Coast Cross Site of Grace (the grace with a Miquella’s Cross beside it), head north past the nearby gravestones and get on the top of the closest ship shaped like a coffin. Then head east, making sure to jump off the coffin ship onto a patch of land and do another jump onto another coffin ship on a lower level. The top of the second ship will have a Great Grave Glovewort that allows Sprit Ashes to be upgraded to +10.

From the end of the second ship, drop down to the coast and follow it east until you come across yet another coffin ship. Following this ship north will eventually lead to the Finger Ruins of Rhia Site of Grace. Follow the path from the Site of Grace until you reach an elevated area to the right with a bunch of fingers protruding upwards. The second Remembrance Coffin can be found behind one of these fingers.

3. Finger Ruins of Dheo

This one is a bit more complex as it requires access to the Hinterland which in turn requires the use of the “O Mother” gesture in front of the Queen Marika statue found in the Black Gate area of Shadow Keep. Once you have accessed the Hinterland Site of Grace, follow the linear path eastward past a couple of Tree Sentinels and across a bridge towards the Hinterland Bridge Site of Grace.

From the Hinterland Bridge Site of Grace, continue heading eastward for a while and you’ll eventually come across the Fingerstone Hill Site of Grace. It is here where you have to continue going down the hill until you near the bottom where a strong fog starts to cover your view. Once this occurs, begin heading north towards the protruding fingers that are similar to those found in the Finger Ruins of Rhia. The third and final Remembrance Coffin can be found amongst these fingers towards the edge of a cliff.

It should be noted that there aren’t enough Remembrance Coffins to duplicate all the boss remembrances in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. If you used all the Walking Mausoleums in the Lands Between, you’ll have to take your character to new game plus to access more boss items. So be careful of which boss remembrances you decide to duplicate in these coffins!
