Yokotaro gets told to do less ramen-posting and work more on games by savage roastbot

Drakengard and NieR: Automata developer Yokotaro recently hopped on the waning trend of having an AI bot analyze your social media account and roast you, and happily, he decided to share the result with his X following.

Taking in various past musings and images shared by Yokotaro, the AI came up with the following human-like but deeply uncanny string of words: “Ah, the enigmatic Yoko Taro, hiding behind that creepy moon mask while tweeting about ramen like it’s the pinnacle of culinary achievement. Your tweets read like a fever dream of a starving artists who stumbled into game development. Maybe if you spent less time photographing your meals and more time on game mechanics, your fans wouldn’t need an encyclopedia to understand your plots.”

Yokotaro didn’t react much to the contents of the roast itself, but he did share a Japanese version of it that he “forcefully” had Google translate for him (it reads as horrifically as you would expect). Fans have of course taken this as a sign to remind the developer of various things they would like him to be doing with his time, such as porting Drakengard to PC.
