Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon artbook will be censored for PS4, uncensored for Switch

The official English X account for Tsukihime – A Piece of Blue Glass Moon – announced on May 2 that the artbook included in the game’s Physical Limited Edition will be “graphically modified” for PlayStation 4, but kept in its original form for the Nintendo Switch.

According to the announcement, due to differing publishing policies between the PlayStation Store and My Nintendo Store, two pages of Tsukihime’s artbook will be censored for the PS4 version. On the other hand, the publishers promise that the game itself will remain unaltered on both platforms. Tsukihime was given an M ESRB rating, making it a 17+ game, but users hypothesize that the censorship has to do with some of the game’s more revealing character designs.

Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon- is scheduled to be released on June 27 for the Nintendo Switch and PS4.

  1. Ever since the Sony moved Playstation HQ moved from Japan to California, Sony went from 1st to last behind everyone including Valve. Games like this being censored and HD2 is the reason why. The HQ needs to be moved back before it is too late.
