The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy writer recommends what to play next if you liked the Killing Game Route

Kyouhei Koyama, one of TooKyo Games' main script writers recommends two games for people who enjoyed The Hundred Line's Killing Game Route.

It’s been only two months since Too Kyo Game’s first in-house IP, The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy was released, but many players are already reporting to have completed the approximately 180 hours long game. Kyouhei Koyama, one of the nine in-house writers who worked on the game besides directors Kazutaka Kodaka and Kotaro Uchikoshi, has his own recommendations for those who enjoyed the self-referentially ironic Killing Game Route.

Tokyo Chronos and ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos are two VR visual novel games published by MyDearest Inc, featuring a dense storyline and multiple branching routes – written by Koyama himself. ALTDEUS was even cited as having “one of the largest branching storylines ever in a VR game” at the time of release. Being a sci-fi mystery visual novel which puts the fate of its characters in the hands of the player, it may be a good next choice for those who’ve already cleared all the 100 endings The Hundred Line has to offer. For players who don’t have a VR set or just prefer playing on a screen, the games have also been released for the Nintendo Switch.

Of course, while encouraging fans to check out his other games, Koyama reminded fans that the world of The Hundred Line is still far from over. The Too Kyo Games team will be working on growing the IP even further. Director Kazutaka Kodaka has recently expressed his determination to eventually add more new routes and endings to The Hundred Line, and there is a possibility of an anime adaptation being produced in the future as well.
