Sony and Team Ninja officially announced on October 23 that the historical action RPG Rise of the Ronin will be released for the PS5 Pro.
Immerse yourself in high-framerate sword battles, the vibrant streets of Yokohama, Edo and Kyoto, and encounter 19th century heroes, all depicted in beautiful graphics.
Rise of the Ronin initially launched as a PS5 exclusive in March this year. Last month, the developers mentioned PS5 Pro optimization (via PlayStation.Blog), but it seems that the release has now been officially decided. Team Ninja promises that the PS5 Pro version will bring more responsive battles, a framerate buff and overall improvement to the look of the game’s environments and characters. They shared an in-game clip showcasing Rise of the Ronin’s enhanced graphics.
Meanwhile, fans are hoping to hear news of future DLC or a Steam release too.
Rise of the Ronin is available for the PS5. A free demo can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store.
