TCG Card Shop Simulator lets you spray stinky customers with deodorant
TCG Card Shop Simulator – an upcoming game by O.P.Neon Games – will allow players to live the life of a card shop owner. In it, players can stock shelves with unopened booster packs, set prices for opened cards, hire staff, and even set the store layout. However, one of the most obscure things that you can do with the TCG Card Shop Simulator is spray deodorant on your store’s more pungent customers.
If you’ve ever spent time at a card shop or any hobby establishment or event, chances are you’ve come across people who are, let’s just say, not too keen on personal hygiene. Conventions all over the world have been known to carry the distinct scent of body odor, with many attendees urging others to bathe or use deodorant before going to public events. TCG Card Shop Simulator’s deodorant mechanic is a tongue-in-cheek reference to this phenomenon as it allows players to be more active in deodorizing their stores.
Spraying deodorant on smelly customers looks to have positive effects on your store’s overall productivity. Those who are within the vicinity of these foul-smelling people are likely to leave the store, which in turn decreases profits and the store’s shop level. It is currently unknown how the smelly customers react to being sprayed, but based on the gameplay trailer, it looks as though they appreciate it.
TCG Card Shop Simulator is set to release in Eary Access on Steam. A free version with all the final game’s features but with limits to progress titled TCG Card Shop Simulator: Prologue will be available on the title’s Steam page on August 12, 2024.
