Street Fighter 6’s fan-favorite Giant Attack mode is back with SiRN Bison

Coinciding with Street Fighter 6’s December 2 Battle Balance update is the return of the beloved Giant Attack mode. While the Giant Attack last May featured an overpowered Akuma, this second Giant Attack will have players fighting against a souped-up M. Bison. The Giant Attack event runs from December 2 to 16, 2024.

SiRN Bison can be fought in Street Fighter 6’s Battle Hub by interacting with specific arcade cabinets. As with SiRN Akuma, fighting and defeating this overpowered, CPU-controlled M. Bison will net players event points which they can use to charge a Hadoken to damage the massive M. Bison in the center of the Battle Hub. Aside from the satisfaction of sticking it to the Shadaloo dictator, players can receive in-game rewards like Drive Tickets and the limited white, black, and red EX 2 color for their own M. Bison character.

What’s new with this second Giant Attack mode is that players can adjust the Advantage feature on the arcade cabinets, potentially giving them a leg up over SiRN Bison. They will need all the help they can get, as SiRN Bison has a quick teleport, area of effect (AOE) blast attack, and a new Super Art to put the hurt on them. Note that the normal Street Fighter 6 M. Bison has none of these moves, so everyone will be learning how to deal with this new breed of villain for the first time.

The white, black, and red EX 2 color isn’t the only M. Bison unlockable cosmetic, as you can also get the free blue and yellow EX 1 color by typing in a code into the Input event code section of Street Fighter 6’s Options menu. Just open “Options” – “Game” – “Input event code.”. Here’s the code so you can easily copy and paste it:

VGBS – 5WGG – AFYW – 4XBR

While players still have to wait until next year for Elena and Mai Shiranui to be released, Street Fighter 6 is ending this year with a bang thanks to these free updates, balance patches, and festive Fighting Pass.
