Street Fighter 6: To meet Mai in World Tour mode, you need to progress Terry Bogard’s quest

Just like Terry Bogard before her, Mai Shiranui’s introduction in Street Fighter 6 will make her playable in the Fighting Ground, Battle Hub, and World Tour modes. Capcom recently revealed the necessary conditions to encounter Mai in World Tour, which involves meeting her fellow Fatal Fury/King of Fighters comrade first.

Mai Shiranui appears in the new Aokigahara area in World Tour. Before meeting Mai, you must first become Terry Bogard’s student by progressing the “One Fateful Day” storyline, which requires you to complete Chapter 11-4 and become enrolled as Ryu’s disciple (you have a lot of teachers in World Tour). Only after completing these steps will you be able to speak to Mai and learn the ways of the Shiranui-ryuu.

One Fateful Day storyline in Street Fighter 6

Based on an announcement image, Mai will be the second master featured in the Knock Out Festival event in World Tour. In addition to meeting Mai, players will be able to give Mai gifts to increase their bond with her, take on new missions, and more. It looks like Mai and Terry will be interacting with each other in World Tour, as the former is on the romantic hunt for the latter’s brother, Andy Bogard. Whether Andy reciprocates Mai’s feelings for him or not is up to players to find out, as the two have a very complicated relationship.

Mai Shiranui arrives on February 5 in Street Fighter 6, which is available for PC (Steam), PS4/PS5, and Xbox Series X|S
