To celebrate the release of SNK’s Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Street Fighter 6 is giving one EX color each for guest characters Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui. To redeem them, all players have to do is log in and open the associated message from the NEWS bulletin that pops up every time you boot up Street Fighter 6.
While Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves puts the two characters’ new outfits in the spotlight, Street Fighter 6 breathes new life into their original costumes. Terry’s Outfit 1 EX2 Color gives the hero a tan and trades his iconic red vest, cap, and sneakers for a blue tone. Mai’s Outfit 1 EX2 Color has the shinobi swapping her classic red kunoichi dress for a white one with black highlights. More free Fatal Fury-related items will be released for free alongside the EX Colors via the NEWS bulletin starting April 23 at 8 am PT.
For those who want more SNK in their Street Fighter 6 experience, the in-game Goods Shop has several new Challenger Screen sounds and character portraits based on classic Capcom and SNK games. Challenger Screen sounds from Capcom vs. SNK, Capcom vs. SNK 2, Power Stone 2, Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein, and Capcom Fighting Evolution are available in preparation for the May release of Capcom Fighting Collection 2, while character portraits by artists Shinkiro and Kinu Nishimura evoke feelings of nostalgia as you wait for your next match.
