Story of Seasons and Rune Factory creator’s new JRPG Progress Orders announced for 2025 in Japan

Bushiroad and HAKAMA have announced the original new RPG Progress Orders, scheduled to launch on in Japan April 10, 2015 for the PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch. An official website and announcement trailer (seen below) were released on November 25. 

Progress Orders is a guild management fantasy RPG produced by Yoshifumi Hashimoto, who is known for his work on the Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon and Rune Factory series. 

The story follows a protagonist who joins a guild called the Legion in search of clues about their missing grandfather. During the guild’s initiation ritual, they acquire the ability of clairvoyance, allowing them to see and hear through other people. With this new ability, the protagonist supports the adventurers and other guild members from the shadows, deepening bonds with them and guiding them to success. Before long, the reputation of the Legion rises, and many talented adventurer parties begin to join.

Gameplay includes training and dispatching your parties to conquer dungeons (with the option of intervening in battles) and managing their weapons, equipment, food and medicines. You also manage the guild by growing crops, fishing and mining resources. Progress Orders will also allow you to communicate with, befriend, romance and marry other characters by deepening bonds with them. 

So far, eight characters have been revealed: The unnamed female and male protagonists, as well as six romanceable partner characters.

Progress Orders is scheduled to launch on April 10, 2015 for the PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch in Japan. Information about a global release is not available yet.
