Stellar Blade to get Goddess of Victory: Nikke crossover DLC alongside PC release
Shift Up announced on February 13 that their hit PS5 game Stellar Blade will get its PC release in June 2025. Not only that, but DLC featuring characters from Goddess of Victory: NIKKE will be releasing alongside the PC version on both PC and PS5.
As seen in the teaser trailer in the tweet above, Rapi and other NIKKEs will be coming to Stellar Blade in June. The live service game Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is the South Korean studio’s biggest earner, known for its engaging story and sexy characters, designed by Stellar Blade director Hyung-Tae Kim, his wife Jiyn Chae and other artists.
Although NIKKE’s profits declined by 7% last year compared to 2023 due to some collaborations (like the Evangelion one) not performing as well as expected, it retains a stable fanbase, with the developers eager to keep adding new content that will keep the game fresh and appeal to players (source: Shift Up 4Q 2024 Business Performance Results presentation).
With the PC port of Stellar Blade, Shift Up are aiming to maintain the critically acclaimed PS5 version’s momentum, bringing the game to the larger PC userbase. According to Shift Up’s latest financial report, players can expect optimization, Steam Deck compatibility and even bonus content.
Shift Up is also hard at work on a new AAA game codenamed Project Witches, and plan to increase their workforce by around 100 people.
Stellar Blade is currently available on PS5. It will be coming to PC (Steam) in June 2025.
