Having provided her likeness and voice for Silent Hill f protagonist Hinako Shimizu, Japanese actress and model Konatsu Kato recently created a YouTube channel, where she plans to stream her own playthrough.
This marks Kato’s first step in fulfilling a promise she made to stream Silent Hill f earlier in October. After hyping herself up for almost a month, she finally got the courage to set up her YouTube channel on October 21. Considering how emotionally taxing the role of Hinako was for Kato (she previously mentioned that she would want to “disappear in a second” should she ever find herself in the game’s world), it looks like she’s taking a very brave step for the sake of her fans.
Aptly named “SILENT HILL f, played by the protagonist herself” in Japanese, the channel features an icon of Kato and a description that reads “I don’t have an iron pipe,” a reference to Hinako’s weapon of choice in the game. Kato has yet to stream or post any videos, but Japanese fans are more than excited to be a part of her playthrough. Given that Halloween is just around the corner, expect Kato to begin her horrifying journey as Hinako soon.
Silent Hill f is available for the PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X|S.
