Shiren the Wanderer 6 is getting even more content, devs tease
Yesterday, Spike Chunsoft’s X accounts posted mysterious messages urging players of Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island to hold on to their copy of the game, teasing that new content will be coming sometime soon.
Since the English version’s release back in February, Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island has received two major free updates packed with fresh content. The first update in April was pretty hefty, giving the roguelike RPG some challenging Sacred Tree dungeons, six new modes, a new fully playable character and more. The second update, which dropped in July, added Tatsumi Shiren as a playable character, upped dungeon floor counts and introduced a threat alert system.
At the time of writing, it is unclear what the new content teased by Spike Chunsoft will be. Considering that both X posts emphasize that the game isn’t over yet, we may well be looking at a nice big third update.
