Sega opens registrations for its “Sega Account” online service for Sega and Atlus games

Sega officially opened registrations for their Sega Account online service on January 22. According to the official homepage, a Sega account is an online profile that gives you access to a variety of benefits when playing Sega or Atlus games and using their online services.

This includes things like directly receiving news about Sega and Atlus titles and related events and promotions. In addition, with a Sega Account profile, you get access to exclusive in-game bonuses and get to link accounts across various gaming platforms. The site also suggests that you will be able to keep track of your in-game records using the account, although the feature is listed as “coming soon.”

Apparently, those who register for a Sega Account by March 7, 2025 will be eligible to receive a bonus item for RGG Studio’s upcoming Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. The bonus DLC is a costume that lets you dress protagonist Goro Majima in Kazuma Kiryu’s signature grey suit.

You can register for a Sega Account via the official website
