While most game bundles usually include a title you’re interested in and a corresponding console to play it on, e-commerce/talent company Yume Group and Capcom have thrown Japanese Resident Evil fans a wildcard by introducing the “Terrifying Nightmare Set,” which includes a PlayStation 5 or Nintendo Switch 2 copy of Resident Evil Requiem and an at-home pull-up bar stored in a unique box. The set, which costs 19,800 JPY (roughly $128 USD), came with its own quirky commercial and sold out in less than five hours.
Starring Yume Group president Shigehiro Ishida singer and co-host Yuri Hoshina, and a guest appearance by Requiem director Koshi Nakanishi, the commercial reflects Yume Group’s penchant for over-the-top shopping videos. In addition to Ishida and Hoshina being inserted into the commercial, a longer video in the style of a classic shopping channel infomercial, shows Grace hanging upside down unceremoniously from the pull-up bar – a reference to the game’s reveal trailer.

The idea behind the Terrifying Nightmare Set is that once you’ve tired yourself out by playing Resident Evil Requiem, you can relax your stiff back and shoulders by using the pull-up bar. If the idea of exercise turns you off, you can always use the pull-up bar to hang your clothes.
Whether it be through Japanese fans’ love of Resident Evil or exercise, pre-orders for all 50 sets sold out in less than five hours. They are set to be delivered on February 27, when Resident Evil Requiem releases.
Resident Evil Requiem is set to release on February 27, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and Windows (Steam).
