Pokémon Presents DJ Pikachu concert had a “secret special Ghost Pokémon” hiding in the crowd

A secret guest sneaked into the Pokémon Presents DJ Pikachu concert - among the Pikachu there was a peculiar ghost/fairy type in disguise.

Early attendees to the July 22 Pokémon Presents livestream event were treated to an hour-long concert featuring several remixes of classic Pokémon tracks and raving Pikachu. As Game*Spark reports, what some may not have known is that amidst the crowd of fan-favorite Electric-type mouse Pokémon was a sole Ghost/Fairy-type in disguise.

The DJ Pikachu concert isn’t included in the official Pokemon Presents video, but some fans were able to capture the concert and upload it online.

As the “Victory! (Trainer Battle)” remix drew to a close, the standing Pikachu DJ made room for the next one, and the stage momentarily went dark. When the lights came back on, an eerie upbeat version of “Lavender Town” started playing, and a Mimikyu sneakily joined the crowd.

Mimikyu’s disguised form features it wearing a Pikachu-shaped rag with a false face drawn using what appears to be markers and crayons. While the disguise normally wouldn’t fool anybody, the darkness and the crowd of Pikachu might have helped Mimikyu sneak into the concert pretty much unnoticed.

The shy Mimikyu, however, doesn’t overstay its welcome, as it ends up disappearing before the “Lavender Town” remix ends. It stands in the crowd for a little more than two minutes before dashing off-screen, and then reappears for the final number – a remix of “Victory Road.”

Other notable attendees are a sleeping Pikachu and one that is initially reluctant to dance. Both Pikachu get their groove on for the last few numbers, as the tempo picks up and the Pokémon Presents showcase starts.

While Pokémon Presents revealed several updates to existing games as well as new games, shows, and even an amusement park, the DJ Pikachu concert was just as amazing, incentivizing Pokémon fans to attend future showcases early.
