People are discovering that you can use Omori as a browser and it’s causing chaos

In addition to being a great psychological horror game, people are discovering that Omori can also be used as a browser. Since Omori is made using RPGMaker and JavaScript, dragging files and URLs onto the game allows them to be played as if it was a media player.

Players who have found this information have been booting up their copies of Omori and using the game to play some hilarious stuff. Disney Toontown Online’s The Big Cheese memes and Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” are just a few of the things that have been played on Omori, with more to come as word spreads.

While this is not how the developers at OMOCAT, LLC likely intended for their game to be experienced, this unexpected feature harkens back to a time when the internet wasn’t as prevalent. You can continue to browse the internet using your internet browser, but for a more traditional experience, try loading some videos on Omori and see if the characters in the game have anything to say about them.
