Palworld adds crossplay, Photo Mode, cosmetic armor and more in latest update

Palworld's v0.5.0 update adds long-awaited features like crossplay, a Photo Mode and cosmetic armor, among other improvements.

After much anticipation, Palworld’s crossplay update has finally gone live. Accompanying crossplay are several new features that streamline the gameplay experience and provide more customization and aesthetic options. Here’s all the new stuff in content patch 0.5.0:

Crossplay, a Global Palbox, and Dimensional Pal Storage make visiting worlds much easier

Crossplay in Palworld is supplemented by the new Global Palbox and Dimensional Pal Storage system. The Global Palbox is an item that allows you to store Pal data and transfer Pals between worlds. The Dimensional Pal Storage, on the other hand, is a large item storage box that has ten times the capacity of a regular Palbox. Guild members can access the same Dimensional Pal Storage if they so wish, while a single player can adjust its settings to serve as a personal storage device.

The Cosmetic Armour System and Photo Mode allow you to play in style

Palworld now has a transmog system that allows players to change their appearance without sacrificing their armor stats (it also prevents you from looking like a walking tank, as most endgame players do). Once they’ve outfitted themselves in their Sunday Best, players can use the new Photo Mode (accessible from the Pal Command Wheel) to take pictures of themselves or their surroundings.

Extra features

While there are no new Pals in the crossplay update, those who are tired of getting low-rarity blueprints can use the new Drafting Table to exchange them for blueprints of a higher rarity. Apart from this, Mac players now have dedicated servers, various specification and balance adjustments to building and world interactions are introduced, and numerous bug fixes help make the game more stable to play.
