Nitroplus mecha girl action game Dolls Nest postponed to Spring 2025 to ensure higher quality

Nitroplus’s Dolls Nest will be launching in Spring 2025 for the PC (Steam). The game was originally announced with a 2024 release window, but Nitroplus has decided to postpone it to make quality-related improvements.

Dolls Nest is a 3D mech customization action game set in a gigantic autonomous artificial crater called Hod. You control a mech girl called a “Frame Unit” and explore the industrial ruins of Hod, seeking to uncover the mysteries that lie at its center while engaging enemies in battle and scavenging for parts.

Dodging and firing weapons consumes energy, so you risk becoming incapacitated in front of your enemy if you don’t manage your resources properly during battle. You can customize individual parts of your mech, and adapting your build to suit different situations is another important aspect of gameplay.

Dolls Nest is being directed by Yojo Ota, a 3DCG designer/character designer at Nitroplus. Nitroplus has previously released titles such as Full Metal Daemon: Muramasa, Demonbane, Saya no Uta and Touken Ranbu, and this will be their first fully in-house game in a long time.

Dolls Nest is scheduled to launch in Spring 2025 for the PC (Steam).
