During its third-quarter financial results press conference last week, Capcom’s representatives expressed high expectations for the upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds. Not only is the game getting positive reviews from early testers, but preorders are also doing well number-wise, which will help with the company’s plan to sell 13 million units of new titles by the end of the fiscal year.

While Capcom didn’t give any concrete figures regarding Monster Hunter Wilds’ preorders, the game’s high popularity can be seen on several retailer sales rankings and wishlists. On Steam, Monster Hunter Wilds currently ranks first in the Wishlist category and is the fourth top-selling game on the platform (it has also been in the top 100 Top Sellers list for nine weeks in a row).
