Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP to get framerate fix update on Nintendo Switch

Dragami Games CEO Yoshimi Yasuda has announced an update for Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP’s Nintendo Switch version. The performance patch will address the framerate drops that some players have been experiencing.

According to Yasuda, the team has reworked 45 scenes in Lollipop Chainsaw’s remaster that suffered from “extreme” dips in framerate, by reducing processing load and decentralizing loading processes to make things run more smoothly on the Switch. After two months of adjustments, the update is complete and currently pending approval, so it’s expected to be released soon.

The producer posted the following in-engine clip demonstrating the results of the fixes:

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is available for the PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X❘S and Nintendo Switch. It will be released for the PS4 and Xbox One on December 2.
