Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP digital preorders open in early August, along with “surprise news” 

Dragami Games’ CEO Yoshimi Yasuda has announced that preorders for Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP’s digital edition will be opening in early August. The developer also told fans to stay tuned for some “surprise news” regarding the title. 

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is a modern remaster and definitive version of the 2012 hack-and-slash action game by Grasshopper Manufacture.  The remaster will be releasing digitally on September 25 for the PC (Steam), Xbox Series X❘S and Nintendo Switch, with a physical release to follow at a later date.

With 4K and 60fps support, RePOP will revamp Lollipop Chainsaw with QOL improvements, new gameplay features, combat adjustments and cosmetics. As revealed in the first trailer, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will have an Original Mode and a RePOP mode to choose from, the latter of which will have less explicit depictions of violence and use pop-art damage effects. 

The title’s producer Yoshimi Yasuda kept things mysterious in his recent tweet, but it sees that fans can look forward to some more surprises leading up to the release date. 

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is scheduled to release digitally on September 25 for the PC (Steam), Xbox Series X❘S and Nintendo Switch. Preorders open in early August.

  1. I can not wait for the news on this, I wonder if there is some sort of collaboration, new clothes? Maybe even a deluxe edition that has more artwork? I will be waiting early August to put it on my Wishlist and to pre-order and play as soon as it comes out.
