Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP devs announce revision of pricing on Steam
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP producer Yoshimi Yasuda announced on September 19 that Dragami Games is currently requesting region-based price revisions for the title’s Steam version.
Since its initial launch on September 12, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP has been priced at roughly $40 or more across almost all regions (SteamDB), with many regional prices being set significantly higher than Valve’s suggested price. This has caused some dissatisfaction among potential purchasers, but their concerns have thankfully reached the developers.
Yasuda first addressed RePOP’s regional pricing issue in a tweet on September 14, commenting, “We have received feedback from players that pricing in different regions of the world has not been thoroughly researched. We agree with the players and will adjust the prices as soon as possible.”
In his most recent update, the producer says that the pricing revisions have been submitted to Valve and are currently pending approval. Fans can expect specific prices to be announced in the following period. The developer has also announced that Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will get a physical version in Europe, release date to be confirmed.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is currently available on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PS5. The game will also launch on PS4 and Xbox One in November.
