Japanese “Overwatch Hostess Club” gets banned, lewd “Apex Legends Hostess Club” takes its place

Hours after an Overwatch Hostess Club X account got banned (likely for violating Blizzard’s terms and conditions), an Apex Legends-themed account has appeared in its place, quickly amassing over 1700 followers.

On July 3 at 7:23pm, the newly created “Apex Kyabakura” or hostess club account made a post outlining its services. Like its predecessor, the account claims to provide services which will be carried out by its “cute cast” of female employees through online multiplayer. Their services are aimed at guys “who want to talk to a girl while gaming”.

Unlike the now deceased Overwatch account, the Apex Legends hostess club is overt about the adult-oriented services it offers, which include “secret ♡” and a service in which the hostess takes advantage of the controller’s vibration function. “It says hostess club but sounds more like a brothel lol,” a user commented. Those interested were encouraged to DM the account for more information.

The sudden appearance of an Apex Legends hostess club was met by amused responses from users who were “dying of laughter” because they couldn’t believe how quickly it had popped up after the Overwatch account’s demise. “If it’s Apex, it won’t get banned.” said one commenter confidently. Others were curious about services and prices (the cost is not listed on the X account). “The fact that the ‘falling asleep together’ service has a time extension fee is beyond funny.” added another user.

Translation: Apex Legends Hostess Club is open. We have many cute cast members.

Although their business model and profile picture of an anime-style girl are extremely similar, it’s not clear whether the Apex Legends account is being operated by the same person or persons who were running the Overwatch one. According to a follow-up tweet from Apex Kyabakura, they have been inundated with requests for services. It remains to be seen whether their account will be taken down by EA.
