Grasshopper Manufacture celebrates 27th anniversary with “Best Of” video playlist, including Suda51 interviews and studio tours

The Grasshopper Manufacture official YouTube Channel has released a compilation of some of the developer's recent highlights.

While the people at Grasshopper Manufacture are busy working on their next project, they couldn’t let March 30 pass by without celebrating the company’s 27th anniversary. A “Best of Grasshopper Archives 2025” playlist was posted on the official Grasshopper Manufacture YouTube channel, which includes 28 videos of some of the best moments in the company’s recent history.

Some of the more popular videos include trailers for No More Heroes 3, Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, and Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered. More interesting, however, are the interviews in which founder Goichi “Suda51” Suda talks about the formation and evolution of Grasshopper Manufacture as well as the one where he and Shinji Mikami discuss the development process behind the original Shadows of the Damned

Seeing as Grasshopper Manufacture recently asked fans to refrain from visiting the studio, watching the Dev Room videos allows you to see what it’s like to work there without arriving unannounced. These videos are typically laid back in nature and help foster a sense of communication and transparency between the company and its fans.

Watching the playlist is like going on a trip down memory lane. Grasshopper Manufacture has accomplished a lot in the past 27 years. If its track record is any indication, the next 27 years are set to be filled with more weird and edgy video games from the company.
