Prime 1 Studios, known for their high end collectable figures and statues, unveiled the world’s first life-size figure of Motoko Kusanagi. Standing at 168 cm, Motoko Kusanagi’s official height, and weighing approximately 36 kg (79 lbs) it cuts an impressive figure. Combined with the base, the total height is expected to be 174 cm (5’7”). The statue is priced at a “reasonable” $7,999 USD for pre-orders with the product expected to ship early 2027.
The statue accurately recreates “The Major” in full-scale from her flowing hair to her crimson red eyes. She comes with a removable jacket allowing collectors to display a more agile version if they should so choose.
The standard package includes “The Major” holding the class Sebro C-26A gun in her right hand. However, Prime 1 Studios is offering a limited Bonus Version which includes an additional right hand holding the Seburo M-5 handgun. The bonus version is limited to only 50 units worldwide.
The statue was unveiled along with 23 other new statues during Prime 1 Studios “NEXT LEVEL SHOWCASE XVII: VISIONS OF THE REALM. A smaller 1/4 scale statue of Motoko Kusangi & Tachikoma was also unveiled during an exclusive interview with the sculptor Entei Ryu.
