Fitness Boxing developer sees 97% profit increase, with strong performance of new Switch releases
Imagineer have announced their financial results for the first three quarters (April to December 2024) of the fiscal year ending March 2025. As reported by GameBiz, the Japanese developer saw increases across the board, with operating profits up 111% and net profit up by 97.5% year-on-year.
In recent years, Imagineer has primarily worked on Nintendo Switch titles. This fiscal year, they have released 7 new games. The third quarter alone saw the launch of Fitness Boxing 3, Disney Music Parade Encore and Japan-only release Mystery Walk.
The global success of the Fitness Boxing series and new title Fitness Boxing 3 made a substantial contribution to these results. Following the November release of Fitness Boxing 3, total worldwide sales of the Fitness Boxing series exceeded 3 million units sold.
Imagineer is also the publisher of the Medabots series of RPGs, which have predominantly been Japan-only releases. The company plans to launch the smartphone game Medabots Survivor in Japan this February, and has already opened pre-registrations.
