Elden Ring Nightreign announcement sends Bandai Namco stock price soaring

FromSoftware’s Elden Ring Nightreign was announced at The Game Awards 2024 earlier today. This sudden reveal of a survival co-op game based on the hit Elden Ring IP prompted investors to rush to buy shares in Bandai Namco Holdings, the owner of Elden Ring publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment.

Bandai Namco Holdings’ share price skyrocketed from 3,276 yen to 3,573 yen at 10:30am (JST) today, following Elden Ring Nightreign’s announcement. The share price maintained its increased value throughout the day, closing at 3,579 yen, up 7% from the previous day’s closing.

For those eager to find out more about the Elden Ring spin-off, director Junya Ishizaki recently revealed various details about the gameplay, concept and cameo enemy appearances from previous FromSoftware titles.
