Elden Ring NIGHTREIGN, a new co-op survival game by FromSoftware, announced for 2025

FromSoftware and Bandai Namco Entertainment just announced Elden Ring NIGHTREIGN, a brand-new co-op spin-off to Elden Ring. The upcoming title is scheduled to launch in 2025 for the PC (Steam) and PS5/PS4/Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S.

Elden Ring Nightreign is a survival action game that supports co-op for up to three players. It is based in the world of the original Elden Ring, inheriting some of its enemies, weapons and locations, but with a completely revamped structure and game design.

The player’s goal is to survive for three days in Nightrein’s vast game field. You explore, strengthen your character, and prepare to take on the powerful “Kings of the Night” (direct translation from Japanese) who appear on the third day. Each round will last about 40 minutes. The layout of bases and dungeons on the game field will change with each new game.

Those who prefer solo play will be glad to hear that the game allows singleplayer too.

Nightrein’s trailer showcases some parkour-style action that makes use of height, including air gliding.

Elden Ring NIGHTREIGN is scheduled to launch in 2025 for the PC (Steam) and PS5/PS4/Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S.
